Sliding Cover Box

A smaller box made as a gift for holding essential oils.

I wanted to do some experimenting with box joints on the table saw. So first I built a jig for box joints, then made this project for my mom! She uses it for holding essential oils as I mentioned in the summary.

This build uses black walnut and red oak. The black walnut top has bookmatched halfs glued together making the grain look nice and symmetrical.
